Curriculum Design

We embrace the goals of cultivating the professional technicians and engineers who specialize in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining electronic equipments and systems. In addition to our required classes, we have designed three specializations: computers, communications, and photoelectric semiconductors. Students can select one of the groups according to their interests.

The following is an overview of the areas of focus in each field.

Required Courses: Basic knowledge and techniques

Computers: Knowledge and design techniques of single-chip microcomputers, computer networks, digital signal processing, and information security and error correction

Communications: Communication systems/methods, cable television systems, and design of high-frequency circuits

Photoelectric Semiconductors: Semiconductor devices, VLSI design, and photoelectric engineering.
